Statement of Purpose

The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) is a church based organization that has been established to consolidate local bodies into one: to promote and foster meaningful dialogue by addressing concerns which leads to solutions in the promotion of the Christian Faith. The organization shall consist of churches and ministers who adhere to the teachings, practices and polities of the Middle Atlantic Conference.

The Conference is established to aid the local church in fulfilling the mission of the Body of Christ. It is the Conference responsibility to encourage, enhance and strengthen the local church through ministerial training, lay leadership training and staff development. The Conference responsibility is to the local church as the local church responsibility is to its members.

MAC is a 501c (3) registered non-for-profit organization also known as the Middle Atlantic Conference of the Free Will Baptist Churches of America. established in 1972 in the state of New Jersey and incorporated in 1997 in the state of New York.

Middle Atlantic Conference offers membership to any church that meets the following requirements:

  1. Evangelical bible based and spirit-led congregation
  2. Accepts the inerrancy of scripture
  3. Accepts verbal and plenary inspiration
  4. Accept the operation of the five-fold ministry in
  5. Ephesians 4 (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors & Teachers)
  6. Willing to abide by the rules and regulations of Middle
  7. Atlantic Conference
  8. Willing to submit to the headship of MAC.
